Privacy Policy

This policy describes the public website at corsariotrading.com, run by Corsario Trading, a private wealth management operation. It does not describe the separate dashboard, which is limited to authorised crew and may have its own notices.

1. What the contact form collects

If you send a message in a bottle, the form asks for:

A hidden field is left blank for people. Automated senders often fill it. If that field has text, we discard the message and do not store the contents.

Please do not include account numbers, identity documents, seed phrases or passwords. We do not need them to read a letter.

2. Short-lived technical records

To slow repeated submissions, the server keeps a rate-limit record: a hash of the network address, not the address in clear text, plus the times of recent attempts. That record is kept for about one hour and then dropped. We do not use it to build a marketing profile.

If the host is configured to trust a proxy, the address used for that hash may be the one the proxy reports. The default configuration uses the address the web server sees.

3. Why we use it

We use the form contents to read the message and, if we choose to respond, to reply to the address you typed. We use the rate-limit record to protect the form. We do not use either for advertising, and we do not sell personal information. We do not share it with data brokers. A mail transfer that the host performs in order to deliver the message to our own mailbox is part of receiving the letter, not a sale.

4. How long we keep messages

The message lives in the mailbox named in the server configuration until the crew deletes it. There is no separate public archive. Rate-limit stamps expire on a rolling window of about one hour. Server trouble notes, if the mailer fails, record only that a send failed and the time. They do not record your message or your address.

5. Cookies, local storage and analytics

The site does not set tracking cookies, and no analytics script is installed. A daylight or night choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage under the key ct-theme, on your device, so the next visit can match it. You can clear it in your browser. That value does not go to our server.

If an analytics tool is added later, this policy will be updated first, and the tool will be disclosed on this page before it runs.

6. Google Fonts

Pages request typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to fetch those files, and Google receives the usual connection data, including a network address. We do not control Google’s later use of that connection. If you block third-party fonts, the page still reads in fallback type.

7. Turnstile, if we switch it on

The form includes a placeholder for Cloudflare Turnstile. It is not active in the published pages until a site key is installed. If we enable it, your browser will talk to Cloudflare, which checks the submission and returns a token our server verifies. Cloudflare’s own policy then applies to that check. Until the key is in place, that request is not made.

8. The dashboard and other links

Leaving this site for dash.corsariotrading.com, or for any other site, puts you under that destination’s rules. This policy stops at our public pages and at the form handler on this host.

9. International visitors

We operate internationally. Messages may be stored where our mailbox is hosted. We do not claim a particular country’s privacy registration on this page. If a law where you live gives you a right of access, correction or deletion, write through the form and say what you want. We will consider requests that the law requires us to honour. This draft does not appoint a representative in any region; counsel should add one if a statute requires it.

10. Children

The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If a message appears to come from a child, we will delete it.

11. Contact

Privacy questions go through the message form. There is no public mailbox and no phone number on this site. See also the Terms of Service.

12. Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version here and changing the date above. The date on this page is 5 October 2026.
